Yeah, I have one of those (but not in flat dork earth) along with an upper and handguard waiting for me out at the FFL's place that I need to make time to go pick up. Haven't bought much else for it besides a flash hider and magazines though.

I like the color about as much as any other and live in that high deserty bit between N Idaho and the Cascades, so there is at least a little reasoning behind it.

We've apparently broken NICS this month.

That's fine, I hope someone somewhere is doing a spit take over this. Looks like I have to wait a while for this one, but that's ok too. I knew it would be a slow build.

Really beautiful gun in the first thread, can I ask what the cost was?

I think you'll need to be more specific as to which rifle you are asking about.

It's an SBR.

This rifle has already made a few appearances in this thread, but here it is with the new optic, a Trijicon Accupower 1-4. All the cool kids are using 1-6 and 1-8 scopes these days, but this still represents a huge step up in optic quality from the CMR that was on there before. Also, it turns out that Mortimer was a southpaw all along.

Does this count as a rifle even though I'm shooting it with the stock collapsed?

And the latest Franken-rifle. Not sure about the stock. It’s on there mostly so the rifle still fits in a case.
