Lubriplate is the stuff, yes.

That said, there is significantly cheaper sources for the grease, albiet in quantiea Burt Gummer would probably require. 130-aa, which is a thinner version of the "a", can be had on Amazon in either a 1.75 ounce toothpaste tube, or a 120 lb drum.

The 130-a is commonly available, from Amazon, Midway, etc in a 16 ounce tub for 20 bucks. :ugeek: Its supposedly whats recommended for Garands and M14s.

Finally got around to picking some of their stuff up.

Wow.

This stuff is slicker than goose shit. Greased up my carry 1911 with it, and it dry-cycles significantly more smoothly than with anything I've used previously. We'll see how it does on my next range trip, but based on the amount of friction reduction in hand, I expect it can do nothing but improve.

Used their Black Rifle Balm on the 1911, and grabbed some of their field balm for range days for work. More to follow, but so far so good.
