Wanted 9x18mm Mak in a case lot
Does anyone sell S&B brass-cased 9x18 Mak by the case? I can find 50 rd boxes all day long, but no one posts case prices. The only thing I can find by the case is Wolf (Sportsmans Guide) and PRVI Partisan (AIM Surplus).
My ideas are mine. You go out and get your own!

just has wolf too... i would imagine that you might have to buy it by the box and hope for a case discount.

I don't know how good the price is, but here's one.
ETA: Didn't you get a PA-63? How are you liking it?

Georgia Arms is making up new 9x18 loaded with either a 95 grain FMJ or Gold Dot hollowpoint.
50 rounds@ $17.75, 100 rounds @ $35, or 1000 @ $345.

Life is short, ammo is expendable. Empty the mag.

Weetabix,
I ended up with a CZ-82. I had some trouble getting the PA-63 ordered and I picked up a CZ-82 at an auction for $100 ($119 out the door). It shoots pretty good, but the barrel was a real shock. I posted in the Gun Talk section about it.

J&G Sales has a 250 round case for $65: 9x18-250
If time, chance and random process can produce a platypus why not an ammo tree?

Weetabix, You didn't ask me , but I got a PA-63 last spring. I kind of like it. It fits well into a jeans pocket, which is useful since I am small and have a hard time concealing anything larger than this pistol in warm weather. It seems to be more accurate than I am so far with its small sights. It kicks pretty hard due to the light weight, so it's not much fun to fire more than 3 or 4 mags full. I installed the 15 lb recoil spring and recommend it. I have the lightened mainspring but have not gotten around to installing it yet.Weetabix wrote:ETA: Didn't you get a PA-63? There were well illustrated instructions on how to do so on a Makarov site which seems to have gone down.
If you are interested in reloading: I just began reloading for it a few weeks ago so can only tell you that 3.3-3.7 grains of Bullseye with the 95 grain Hornady JHP seated to just below the shoulder on the bullet functioned and fed perfectly with no pressure signs (I don't have OAL data handy here but these are a lot shorter than the factory JRN rounds). I was shooting them into my lawn to check for pressure signs and function. I have not made it to the range with these reloads yet. I have 3.7 gr and 3.8 gr loads loaded and ready for shooting on paper. The catch with these loads is, they are over the 3.5 maximum load recommended by Lee on the instructions that came with the reloading dies. Some guy on the internet claimed he loads 4.1 gr Bullseye with this bullet.

Can I come over to your house? I think my neighbors would crap a brick if I did that. Of course, we're on 1/5 acre lots in town...DKDay wrote: I was shooting them into my lawn to check for pressure signs and function.
