The reason you pick a common round isn't to be able to get it when ammo is scarce; it is to be able to buy it in case lots when ammo is plentiful, before you need it.

I have not lacked for ammo. However, I have ended up loading ammo with powders or bullets that were nowhere close to my first choice.

Trouble is, there's a limited set of plans to begin with.

Society exists because we make it. It collapses if we let it. Who has a plan with their neighbors? Local police? Fema?

Planing with neighbors is a good idea if they are up to it, same with the PD though if you have the wrong kind of PD this might just get you unwanted attention. Working with FEMA? Not for all the black helicopters in the world.
