Big difference when you're loading 100 rounds a month versus loading 100,000 a day. Halve the volume of powder, and you're probably halving your powder costs. A couple of cents per round adds up to some real money when you're loading that many rounds a day.

For those who might not have checked their stocks of .22 ammo yet, I just wanted to point out that if you have some of the recalled ammo - you only have to call their number to schedule a FREE UPS Pick-Up of the ammo (and likely replacement ammo on the same truck):

I'm guessing the word hasn't been getting out too well 'cause they have a 1/2 page ad in the latest American Rifleman magazine (May 2014, on page 46). They WANT those lots back (and I can't blame them)!

I'm gonna guess that like every other ammo recall, that's not applicable in Alaska.
