Lot of stupidity in the comments, including assertions that he is using field points or other target gear. But if you freeze it at 0:16 in, you can clearly see a broadhead on the end of his arrow. He definitely wasn't ready for what happened.

I think the knife would be more practical to carry than a shark.

20-foot Great White sharks are quite difficult to carry into the field - especially for black bear protection!! LOL!!
