I don't know gun laws in Canada, but I'd expect that these two might be considering researching carry options before their next hike.

I prefer throwing 240 grain rocks rather than the variety they had.

The comments on the video are a riot.

"Well done also on running past all those sticks and ditching your friend, may I never go into the woods with someone like you"

"Don't have to outrun the bear just the other guy. What a puss."

And people wonder why we think it's a good idea to carry a gun...

Wasn't the bear actually just looking for dropped food from these guys? Maybe it learned that human (idiots) feed bears? I didn't think it was up for hunting them....

But then I'm a city slicking tenderfooted greenhorn.
