Sorry I missed this way back when, NPR -- I vaguely recall it having to do with operator safety.

According to the NYFC Urban Dictionary:

We have one almost identical to the one pictured. The closest it's been to cutting wood is grubbing roots. :shock: :shock:
The use of the word "but" usually indicates that everything preceding it in a sentence is a lie.
E.g.:
"I believe in Freedom of Speech, but". . .
"I support the Second Amendment, but". . .
