Charlton at Chantilly VA show

Post by D5CAV »

I hadn't seen Bob Charlton for about a year. Turns out he's had some health issues so this weekend was his first show in several months.

He had a table at the Chantilly ELGS this weekend, so I scored another Capstick Hunter for my other backpack. This has become my favorite hunting knife, so I'm always looking for it. Having two of them doubles my chances of finding one before a trip.

$235 for a hand forged damascus knife with giraffe bone handles! I saw machine made in Taiwan knives for more money at other tables.

Now that I think about it, I should have bought two more! http://damascususa.us/www/knife_pics/v6.html

I was at the show on Saturday. I actually found some Federal 40 180gr at Walmart prices.
