It's on my calendar. By then I'll be ready for another trip to visit with my grandson in North Georgia.

Cool.

Aglifter, CU74, myself and a few buddies that have been lurking on here.

Any one else gonna help us terrorize GA for a weekend?

Any thoughts on having a 11 year old along?

I cannot answer for Precision, but an 11 year old, that was properly supervised, would definitely be welcome at Rumpshot's Revenge.

It is this guy, he is a better shot than I am

Here he also is showing his grandfather how to shoot

And he also loves to run the clay thrower

He is responsible enough that I don't have to stand over his shoulder at a firing line and still young enough that I wouldn't walk off to the other side of the range while he was shooting.

I think he would like some camping with just he and I, he always has to go places with his brothers and sister. Is anyone planning on camping?

How does a guy miss replies to his own thread???

Answer 12 hour work days with an hour commute each way.

Sorry Mekender.

EVERYONE is welcome regardless of age. We routinely have sub 10 year olds shoot with us. My hunting buddy brings his 10 year old son and a friend of ours 10 year old daughter. The girl ROUTINELY out shoots the boy. She even "tries" to steal my 10/22 every time she shoots it.

Another hunting buddy brings his 8 year old son and 4 year old daughter. They both shoot. He is a crack shot with a kids .243 and a 20 guage. She isn't so good with the shotgun, but does well with the kids .243.

As far as camping goes. You all are very welcome to tent or trailer/RV camp.

I have access to my buddies camper. Sleeps 6-8 Currently has the GF, myself and a buddy in it. There is also a "communal camper" that is fair game. Sleeps 4ish. And if needed I can ask one of the other guys about his, which sleeps 4ish as well.

Our camping area is roughly 10 acres and has plenty of open area. We even have a few septics and a generator house with cords run. We also have an electric pump on a 250 gallon water bull for non-potable usage.

Not another recruit, but I confirmed my Georgia visit with my son yesterday. We're planning to stumble out of bed at zero dark thirty on Saturday morning and drive down for a day of shooting.

Mekender - I'm probably about the same age as your eleven-year-old son's grandfather. Think the lad will give me some shooting hints?

When I get back from taking the GF to radiation, I will email over my phone number to those who are coming / might come. For co ordination purposes and the like.
