Thought you guys would like this, guy had some 2000 negatives that he set in a box in 1969 and forgot about them until a couple of years ago.

Thanks for the link. A buddy of mine was in Tropic Lightning. He made Captain over there and earned a Silver Star. He was actually a study in contrasts, Regular Army, but he didn't want to go to Vietnam because he was basically a pacifist, so he signed up for every school they'd let him qualify for. When he finally got orders, he was Airborne, and Ranger and wound up going to Vietnam in 1969. He joined the 25th ID in the field, took command of an Infantry company and participated in the Cambodian excursion, fighting at both the Parrot's Beak and the Fishhook.

I lost track of him during the '80s, but ran into him at Fort Polk in late '89. He was a Lieutenant Colonel, taking a battalion to Saudi. Evidently, the years had changed him. We talked for about fifteen minutes, and he had turned into a complete and total asshole. Or maybe he was just having a bad day.
