Apparently they just released the Tirpritz over in Europe and the Wehraboos are going nuts for them. You have to admire the Wargaming business model, instead of selling the whole game for $50-$60 they can sell individual warships for that much.

It is a strange model, but some do seem to get it to work really well.
Some people will spend stupid amounts of money for things others won't, so they let the ones that will carry everyone else. It's kind of like the convenience store model. The ones buying the fountain drinks keep the place in business for the ones buying gas and smokes.

Not all that strange, every bit of research I have seen shows that the microtransaction model is far more lucrative than a flat subscription model.

I certainly hope that my preference for tweed, gin & tonics, watching Aston Villa and a nice double in 12-gauge doesn't drop me into the teaboo category.

I honestly have not seen much of the Teaboos and the Freeborn seem to be firing thir 16 inches of freedom ironically most of the time.

I must admit I laughed out loud when my kids were watching a Phineas and Ferb episode and it had Professor Elemental singing on it, and I recognized him.
