What? It can fly straight and level? I used to design aircraft that would do that.

(Seriously, back in my mis-spent youth, I used to design, build and fly free-flight aircraft. Getting them to fly straight and level was easy. Getting them to come back after the flight was more problematic.)

Cute and all, it's just that as time marches on, these are less like watching the next generation of Commie-killers, and more like attending the christening of SkyNet.

And they officially acknowledged BAMS-D flying 10,000 hours in theater. Not bad for a cribbed-together demonstrator.
