All I can say is greetings from Kuwait, those of you who've come into theater probably know where I am. I am well and will be in theater relatively soon. CC I will get my address to you as soon as I know it.

I am in theater. and I have teh intarwebz at my control! CC expect an email soonish from me with the address.
and on the first day while living in a transient tent city, one retard had to say, "It could be worse, it could be raining." And the fates agreed, and so it was. Heavy rain for ten minutes on a base that's mostly desert clay was what welcomed me.
On a side note, I am now one of 9 designated marksmen in my platoon, though i should likely never need to draw on my marksmanship ability.
I'll post here the next time something interesting happens, like go on leave or something.

Welcome to the suck brother. Things have really calmed down here, but depending on where exactly you're headed, the abu jackass per capita rate might still be above normal. Take the training down there with a couple grains of salt...
