Currently, Costco is $3.19/gal, and the cheap local station is $3.15/gal. But the gas tax holiday expires tomorrow at midnight. That means all over the state, the price of gas will go up 17 cents a gallon starting with the new year.

All of which is ridiculous $3.50 a gallon for gas, when crude is barely 2 bucks on the spot price?!

Saw on one of the daily blogreads that gas in his area had jumped ~$0.40 overnight, and it hadn't here. Yeah, that was yesterday. $0.36/gal since yesterday, which is about 15% overnight. Yay.

Oddly, it hasn't jumped here yet, despite the tax holiday expiring at midnight.

Is that one where when after two tankfuls of premium the engine goes bumbumbum when you turn it off?
The use of the word "but" usually indicates that everything preceding it in a sentence is a lie.
E.g.:
"I believe in Freedom of Speech, but". . .
"I support the Second Amendment, but". . .
