Apparently true, but the truth seems to be he died from an allergic reaction to being sprayed with bear spray by a protestor. So the new information does not exactly acquit the protestor involved.

We will see, it seems plausible either and no reason to jump to aconclusion. If it just goes away then perhaps you are right. If they charge the people involved (which apparently they are working on) then we will see what the defense comes back with.

I saw an analysis of the bear spray "directed" at Sicknick and it didn't look like it was anywhere near him.

It is pretty clear he was exposed to bear spray, it is mentioned in Byron York's piece from today and he is very reliable. It does seem they backed off on that as a factor of death too though (from the same piece). Clearly it is not very clear.

Allergic reaction seems very unlikely from the limited report. No mention of erythema, rash, caustic burns, or tissue swelling. Though they did not mention anything about the lungs. But after a day most reactions would have been gone and having 2 clots in the same area is unusual to say the least and points to there being something wrong with the vasculature in that area.
