Supplemental Payment on Debit Card

Post by toad »

So the Munchkin in charge of the Treasury Department decides it will be cheaper to send out the payments on a Visa Debit Card.
He doesn't bother to publicizes that he is doing this , there is no message on the envelope or the card that it is From the treasury department.
So a large number of people get the card assume it is from the usual scammers and destroy the card. Now there is a rising uproar and the Department can't fill the requests for a replacement card.
I smell a " Kickback" from that credit card company . How is mailing a card cheaper than the usual direct deposit. IRS agents have big caught before for taking bribes, peddling influence, and stealing accounts. So why hasn't the FBI looked at the midgets financials ?

People rarely use the entire balance on the debit card. It’s why so many rebates etc are sent on them

It's funnier that they sent the money to bad accounts.

They did this to keep Donald Trump's signature from appearing on one last check to the people.
The Deep State's latest scam is to imitate scammers so people (particularly "Trumpers") will throw away the government "largesse" themselves.
I dream of them in the Gulags they dreamed for everyone else.

Your dreams are too nice.

Mine involve piano wire and lamp posts

Also to tarnish any legacy.

Only Piano wire? I was thinking of Mussolini's Blackshirts and their standard treatment of dissenters. Tie them to a lamp post and apply Castor Oi.
Giacomo Matteoti got whacked, but other opponents and journalists got the digestive improvement. As George Seldes indicated in his book, Witness to a century, dosage is important.

So the little turd in charge of the Treasury with the " advise and consent " of the Senate was straight out of Goldman Sachs . Had been an actor.
Just a thought , but shouldn't senators be term limited like the President ? Or perhaps if people want to serve in the Federal Legislature every seven years a lottery would be held to to choose one out of ten Legislatures to be executed by elephants on Viagra. The ticket sale should help balance the budget.

Have an online poll every four years, a popularity contest for all 435 Congresscritters. Take the bottom 100, pair them off. Put the pairs in a cage, one pair at a time. Give them each a knife. Whoever wins, shoot them. Then on to the next pair. Hold a special election to replace those lost to attrition, and make it clear that the selections will continue until Congress has a higher popularity rating than any given Kardashian.
