The tablet article is interesting, but it’s a bit bizarre to read a claim that “it’s inherently Hebrew to not worry about family lineage...”. In an article concerned about the descendants of Abraham...

Here is another take on it. I think this one over sells a bit (especially relative to Trump) but in general direction I agree.

From a national (or civilisational) standpoint, it is important that the Left have this conversation. The have been blinded by extremism for too long from the "no enemies on the left" concept.

It would be better traditional style liberals won, but even if not - being driven out of the Left's coalition would allow a clear division that we do not have now (we do actually, but one must be paying closer attention than most voters do.)

This also, highlights the weakness with Trump. A lot of the criticism of him is over the top, but he does tend to play footsie with anyone who "says nice things" about him. That does tend to muddy the waters.
