Although some of the less wealthy members of the "KaDet" party suffered after the October Revolution (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constitut ... atic_Party ), two of the main protagonists of the article never saw the gulags. They continued their lives of privilege outside of Russia/ USSR.
Pavel Milyukov fled to France where he lived well in Paris until he died at 84 in 1943: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pavel_Milyukov
He lived well enough that he survived an assassination attempt while seeing a performance of the Berliner Philharmonic in 1922, when most Germans needed a wheelbarrow full of Reichmarks to buy a loaf of bread.

Maybe they were just lucky or maybe they kept a low-enough profile that Stalin didn't see the need to eliminate them like he did Trotsky.
