CEO of Dick's just keeps trying to go out of business. We should help him.

What do the share holders think about all this?

Dick's is trading at a PE of 11x in a market where the median PE for the S&P 500 is 17x, so not much love from shareholders.
It took Dick's Sporting Goods a full year to recover the lost ground, but now the recovery is starting to pay off. The boycott of its business by hunters caused the retailer to add more products that carry higher margins, such as baseball gear, licensed products, and outerwear, while expanding the presence of private-label apparel like CALIA, Alpine Design, and a new, discount brand, DSG.
Don't buy baseball gear at Dick's either.

Friends don't let friends shop at Dick's.

I will next buy things at Dicks for my Amazon business when they are fire saling their stuff as the stores are closing. If they manage to avoid that, it will be without any help from my cash infusions.

Corporations generally go out of their way to make it hard for individual shareholders to attend the annual meeting...though there will be organized blocs of Woketivist shareholders who will cheer on cue for brave Ed Stack. It will likely take action from someone on the board of directors who has had enough of Ed Stack's act, and can round up the votes to oust him.

Great example of agency conflict, though. Stack acts like he's spending his own money, rather than the shareholders' money.

How much support will Stack receive when the word gets out about his collections of kiddy porn, trained goats, underage sex slaves, and abused male dogs.
