On The Ground In Iraq

Post by Aesop »

Let's hope somebody has the Marines warming up the helos off the coast...

From Sean Linnane's blog:
On the Ground In Iraq
"Iran has sent troops across the border into Iraq. They're here!

Huge stockpiles of US armor, weapons, heavy artillery, mortars, armored vehicles, tanks, the entire main weapons depot and the main helicopter base, have been captured, mostly intact, by ISIS

The largest oilfield in Iraq has also been captured by ISIS. No US airstrikes, and none are likely any time soon.

Bumbling US State Department is providing zero support to contractors and other Americans still here.

Water, ammunition, and other critical supplies are not being delivered to what few Iraqi troops there are who have not already ripped-off their uniforms and fled.

All Americans, including me, are trying desperately to get out.

In short, it is total chaos here. Extremely dangerous. It is the fall of Vietnam all over again! Anyone who trusts the USA as an ally is a fool!"
How to undo a ten-year war and make a $Trillion in expenditures a total waste, in only one administration...
