With the death penalty off the table, I'm hoping for life in prison,

I agree, as long as they are

1. In the general population

and

2. every inmate is told why they are there.

and

3. The guards see and hear "Nuffing! Nuffing!"

Just to add to the fun, tattoos "disrepecting" each of the major prison gangs (Aryan Brotherhood, Bloods, Crips, MS17, etc.) and "Insert Here" at appropriate places.
