No good deed goes unpunished

Post by D5CAV »

The soldiers who were in Somalia 25 years ago must be thinking this when they see Rep. Omar: https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2019-04- ... -911-tweet

Just to review some history:

1. "Blackhawk Down" happened because us.gov wanted to avoid a Rwanda-style cleansing (I won't blame Clinton because the troops were first put there by Bush 1). They were there to protect NGOs distributing food and prevent relief supplies from being seized by warlords like Aidid. Yeah, all that "end of history", "New World Order", "Rainbows and Unicorns" stuff.

2. Omar's family were close allies of the prior (corrupt) leader of Somalia, the one who was deposed by Aidid and the other warlords. They were rich because they were part of the corruption.

3. Omar's family were able to escape to Kenya because they were rich, so they had some "portable wealth". They were not in their (not very portable) expensive villa in Mogadishu (which probably was occupied by some warlord) when "Blackhawk Down" happened.

4. If us.gov wasn't so concerned about a Rwanda-style cleansing, and did not have a military presence in Somalia putting some brakes on Aidid, Omar's family will likely have been some of the "loose ends" cleaned-up by Aidid, "Rwanda-style".

Of course, as the character William Munny so accurately observes in "Unforgiven", "Deserve's got nothing to do with it."

Ah, Somalia...where all the worst aspects of Africa and Islam come together in one special sh**hole.

Oh, shes a real piece of work, alright, She also almost certainly committed fraud to get a greencard, committed campaign finance fraud, that last i heard was bing investigated by Minn board of election, and only got elected because of district jerrmandering basically only cover the area of Minn known as "little mogidihu". Dems in Congress immediatly led a campaign to overturn a 181 year old rule that there is no head coverings to be worn in congress, so she could wear her hijab.
HTRN, I would tell you that you are an evil fucker, but you probably get that a lot ~ Netpackrat

Are there any male Jewish members of Congress who can stand near her wearing their yalmuke (sp?) to make her anti-Semitic ass uncomfortable?
