Probably more of the procedural: appeal to full 9th circus, they say it is ok again, then appealed to the Supremes who don't take it up so it stays that way.

But reportedly any orders placed by the time limit yesterday are still ok, mags ordered, inbound, or already received are 'grandfathered' if what I'm reading is correct. And so likely tens to low hundreds of thousands of standard capacity magazines have been introduced into CA.

Feels a little like when America air-dropped Liberator pistols into occupied Europe...

Brownells is on record as saying they shipped 350,000 on Monday. Just Monday. And Brownells was late to the party since they didn't ship over the weekend like other retailers.

Probably somewhere between 2 and 10 million new mags made their way into California during "Freedom Week"

And those were just the ones that were purchased and not imported by people who already owned them but had to leave them out of state. Just sayin...

Ban reinstated: https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/ju ... ts-n991616

Pending state appeal per request by state AG Xavier Becerra: https://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2019/04 ... ng-appeal/

Of course, this is the same California State AG Xavier Becerra that calls for decriminalization of illegal immigration: https://www.nationalreview.com/news/cal ... minalized/

So felonies for US citizens who own magazines that hold more than 10 rounds, but no criminal charges for any foreign nationals who choose to come to US without authorization.
