Jon McCain is dead

Post by Jered »

He's died of brain cancer.

My mother taught me that if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

"Nice" is a more than sufficient response in this instance.

I can manage a 'thank you for your service' easily enough. (Navy, not Senate)

I do thank him for his service. I can dismiss his politics as being representative of PTSD from the horrors he faced. The down side of that is, it did significant damage to the nation, at times. Far better he had done something else after his military career.
There must be an end to this intimidation by those who come to this great country, but reject its culture.

He is now the Media's favorite kind of Republican.
...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".

Gotta love how everyone who called him a war criminal in 2008 are now calling him an elder statesman.

Don't forget racist. Plus when the NY Times refused to run his OP-Ed if he didn't change some things, while they ran Obama's unchanged.
