Possible changes to ITAR

Post by HTRN »

This is big.

If ITAR goes away for non exporters, it makes alot of possibilities for small manufacturers..

I guess if that goes through I will have to decide if I want to start building parts.

It will depend on the details, but from what I have seen so far, somebody who gets an 07/02 may still be screwed, since machine guns will still be under ITAR. Or at least, building a post sample for yourself may trigger ITAR fees.

Yeah, but title 2 stuff is a comparatively small part of the market overall..
