Methodists don't ex communicate each other because the doctrine is to support the members no matter what doctrine the member adheres to.
And that's from Arianism to Pelagianism and beyond. When I was a mere Yute the church supported draft dodgers and volunteers, not to mention the mere draftees, so they have a BIG tent.

The use of the word "but" usually indicates that everything preceding it in a sentence is a lie.
E.g.:
"I believe in Freedom of Speech, but". . .
"I support the Second Amendment, but". . .
