Actually the arming teachers bit is poo as well:

School district has to "opt in"
Sheriff dept. has to "opt in"
Teachers who only teach in the classroom are not allowed to be part of the program.

like most efforts at "gun control" this is a steaming stream of high velocity bloody anal expulsions.

The arming teachers gig is shite.
The disavowing of anyone under the age of 21 for self defense is shite.
I could go on, but I have shit to do today without seeing it through a veil of red.

Gunshine state my ass. Conservative - Republican majority my ass.

All I can say in my new adoptive state better not pull this shit, too.

The governor signed it into law yesterday, thus ensuring his non-reelection. Within a couple of hours, the NRA filed a lawsuit claiming the 21 year age limit was a discriminatory law. Things should get interesting.
one can be a Democrat, or one can choose to be an American.
Good acting requires an imagination; reality requires a person not getting lost in their imagination.

Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner - its not just discriminatory, it's preventing a citizen, who's attained majority, from engaging in an enumerated right.

I don't know if there's been a real push challenging restricting pistols to only those over 21, but this screams to be slapped down.
