Mayor Bloomturd has given $350,000 to the Morse and Giron anti-recall efforts here in Colorado. Billionaire Eli Broad has given $250,000 as well.

To be fair, the NRA has given $100,000 toward pro-recall efforts. This is all in response to the Dem Cong state legislature passing the anti-gun legislation into law some months ago--Morse is Senate president, from Colorado Springs of all places (don't blame me, I don't live in his district!). Giron is from Pueblo, an old school Dem steel town, but not historically anti-gun. Bloomberg & Co. and MAIG helped push the anti-gun efforts in the first place.
This crap pisses me off no end. Here's the website of the Basic Freedom Defense Fund, which is leading the recall efforts:

It is truly grassroots, local citizens doing what they can to get these traitors out of office. Ironically, the pro-Morse/Giron ads blame "outside" interests for pushing the recalls. If you can spare a buck or three they can certainly use your help. The recall elections are September 10.
