which don't have a chance in hell of passing. Kathy Stein is our version of Feinswine. Her husband started, and used to own, Lexington's minor league baseball team. She used his money to become a city councilwoman, then state senator. They live in a Libtard district, so she has this job for life, if she wants it.
The measures would require KSP to write administrative regulations for licensing possession of handguns, assault weapons and large-capacity magazines or clips used for ammunition. KSP would also register those guns under the proposed law.

However, the Kentucky bills would not extend as far as proposed federal legislation that would outright ban some military-style guns.

Lawmakers also said the rules would not require registration of rifles or shotguns typically used in hunting and skeet shooting.

Possessing a handgun without a license — or an unregistered handgun — could result in a Class A misdemeanor, while violating the proposed law for assault weapons would result in a Class D felony. Class A misdemeanors are punishable with up to 12 months and Class D felonies can result in one to five years’ imprisonment.

Other portions of the legislation would allow local governments to regulate firearms, ban guns at colleges and universities, further restrict gun storage and require background checks on firearm purchases at gun shows and other private sales. It would also require individuals deemed mentally ill to surrender their firearms in some cases.
