The People's Republik of Kalifornia.

Post by Draven »

I'm tired of this place.

I'm sick of living here.

Its not just the gun laws- although they don't help...

I'm sick of the legislation at all levels- from city council to state gov- having to pass laws for *everything*. I get the perception that the state feels like they need to baby us from *before* the cradle to the grave and tell us how we're supposed to do *everything*. Talking to any of my elected-by-someone-else representatives only makes that feeling worse.

Its not just a matter of the 'take from you to give to someone else' socialism either. Its the "we know better than you, you don't know anything, so we have to tell you" attitude in every speech they make, every law they write lately, every response from a legislators. Its the $75 ticket because the spare car we have didn't move for two weeks and it need s to be moved every 72 hours by city ordnance. Its not being able to leave the trash cans outside the carport. Los Angeles not licensing any food restaurants that they feel are inappropriate....

So, this topic is a centralized area for those of us on Occupied Kaliforniastan to vent. Carry on.

(opps sorry thought this was general bitching not site-specific bitching mods please move where appropriate...)

One of the remaining beauties of America is that you can move and hopefully find a state that isn't as bad as the one you are leaving. Which in the case of Kalifornia isn't a real stretch. I don't even like to visit Kalifornia for those very reasons you mentioned. And while you name them as "elected by somebody else representatives" they see themselves as your elected betters. It seems to me, living on the outside, that individual freedom and responsibility has been taken off the table quite a long time ago.

I urge anyone who disagrees with the direction that the People's Rupublic of Kalifornia has taken in the last 30 years to pack their things and leave. It is quite obvious that YOU cannot make a difference...you are grossly outnumbered...leave. If the vast majority of Kalifornia's citizens (and south of the border interlopers) want the state to be a socialist paradise, a statist experiment to the Nth degree, the new politically correct alternative lifestyle utopia then that is what it will be...you can't stop it...leave. The best we can hope for is that as the good people leave they will be replaced by the idiots who live amongst the rest of us who think what is going on there is a good thing. Of course, that won't happen. The Kalifornicators have been spreading out for years now, infecting entire regions that were once bastions of conservative, freedom lovin', boot strap Americans...kinda like cancer - just as persistant and just as destructive. LEAVE. Look at it like this...when a ship is taking on water and you can't bail it out fast enough it is time to get off and let it sink. It is going to sink anyway it is just a question of if you are willing to go down with it or not.

How do we keep them from Californicating other states after they flee the mess they made in California?

Shoot them at the border unless they have guns when they arrive.

Easy, ask them if they've EVER voted for Boxturd or Feinswein (or Piglosi). My Ghod, I have no idea how ANY of those turds got elected other than Retardicans stayed home and didn't bother to vote so this is what we've got. <PUKE>

This state needs a double enema, one at the top, and one at the bottom.

Moved to Politics because that's where this VALID topic belongs.

wanna know how pelosi got elected?

she was the most left leaning one in the city... go to zombietime.com and scroll through the pictures of the "up your alley fair" and while you are trying to keep your lunch down, remember that is what happens on public streets in Pelosi's district...

Although I admire the simplicity and beauty of Rod's solution, I would have been trapped forever in the PRC had it been in effect when I retired. For all the years I was in Kali, my meager gun collection was safely stored in a closet (did I say meager?) at my parent's home in SC. I had no guns with me when I left the land of fruits and nuts.

I prefer 308 Mike's solution -
....ask them if they've EVER voted for Boxturd or Feinswein (or Piglosi).....
. Folks with appropriate political leanings can be enlightened and converted. With proper care and feeding, they could even become members of this forum!

I know exactly how they got elected and I mentioned it in my previous post. These evil socialist women are holding national office because there are more people who approve of them than those who oppose them. It is just that simple. No demoncrat tricks...no republicrat apathy...nothing more than the decent people being grossly outnumbered by the crazies. It's just too far fetched an idea that the state is being run by just a few socialist and the vast number of the people there are just good decent hard working freedom loving folks who are being put upon by these monsters in elected office. If the majority of the people didn't want the state to be going the way it is (and has been for decades) it would come to a screeching halt. And yet it circles the bowl. Good outnumbered by bad...by huge margins.

Let's face it, Kalifornia is the modern day American equivalent to Sodom and Gommorah. It cannot be fixed - it's already too far gone. The majority of the people want it to be fucked up...hell, they demnad it...they want more of it! Seriously, leave. Pack your things and leave and don't turn around to look back lest you risk being turned to stone.

cu74, a notarized letter from your parents would be acceptable to me. Maybe ask the refugees to explain the difference between a clip and a magazine. If they can't answer, give them the MP and the Holy Grail bridge toss.
