A federal judge has ordered Connecticut's top election official to allow voters to wear World Wrestling Entertainment clothing to the polls.
U.S. District Judge Janet Bond Arterton issued an order Wednesday that requires that Secretary
of the State Susan Bysiewicz not to apply state election laws regarding political advertising to the WWE fans.
Vince McMahon, the CEO of WWE and husband of Republican Senate candidate Linda McMahon, filed a lawsuit on Tuesday seeking to stop local election workers from asking WWE fans to cover up their wrestling garb at the polls.
Linda McMahon was the former CEO of the wrestling empire.
