After this election we could just call the Republicrats/Demoblicans the National Socialists Party(s). Ol Blood N Guts must be giving St Peter hell right about now.

I can, and it was only a couple of elections ago. Considering the positions of those on "our side", can you honestly say that this "team" has less leadership than Bush/Cheney in EITHER of the last two elections?

Once Palin was added to the ticket, they rocketed past MUCH of the recent past leadership - but too bad the ticket isn't the other way around. But she's a smart cookie, and I figure four years in the White House and the chance to put the fears of the abortion crowd to rest would certainly put her in a MUCH better position to be our first female President.

It SHOULD have been Thompson/Palin.

Well, you've been around long enough to know my feeling on Thompson. Besides, anyone NOT clamoring for the job probably has the right attitude and disposition to most properly do the job the way it should be done - with the PEOPLE in mind, not polls.

Thompson/Palin, now THAT would be the ticket I would man phone banks, walk precincts, and stuff envelopes for.

Under Obama, insurance companies would be made to give coverage to pre-existing conditions. So what is there to stop some jackass from staying off insurance until he actually feels like something serious may be happening, and expecting to pay only what everyone else pays? Wouldn't that force rates up across the board as the companies try to keep from hemorrhaging money on the big bills of people who avoid paying into the system until the last possible minute? Didn't Obama promise that people who are happy with their present coverage would not be screwed?
Obama's plan is that people can use their private health insurance if they wish, but will still be forced to fund the government insurance program, so really, they will have been paying all along.

Fuck it. Blow the whole thing up. We got to complete fucktards running. McCain is better than Obama, but he blew it last night. Either way we get a socialist. At least one of them doesn't want to strip us of our guns.

I was kind of hoping McCain would get sick of Obama's smarmy-ness and deck him on national TV. At this point in time, I think it might have actually helped him in the polls. :D

Sarah Palin chasing Biden off stage with a shotgun, and then relocating one of the podiums to center stage for the 'Sarah Palin Show' would have been an improvement as well. But oh well.

If they lose, I hope she says to hell with your stupid asses, and comes home to introduce articles of secession into the next legislative session.

This thing was over as soon as McCain picked Palin. He should have picked an old white guy with a resume and clubbed the experience issue.

I think if that happened, there'd be a LOT of people moving to Alaska.
