Log In Problems

Post by SeekHer »

Whenever I shut off my computer and then start it again the next time and try to log into this site I keep getting the non-member red background and it wanting me to log in...

I have the Remember Me box checked off but it seems that whenever I close it erases the cookie for this site and this site alone...

I check into what's new posted and if I'm going to comment I'll then log in but I don't otherwise...

Also, I can't display attachments...I click on it, the Windows Save/Run box pops up and whether I click Save or Run it starts the download, finishes, then another box pops up--same message, and keeps on going until frustration hits and tell it to "F Off"...Pictures display fine, links display fine, videos display fine just not attachments...
There is a certain type of mentality that thinks if you make certain inanimate objects illegal their criminal misuse will disappear!

Bizarre.

Have you maybe accidentally added the forum to an ad-blocking list or some such?

I know the site automatically logs me out, even if I have logged in, but I then spend too long without posting or opening a thread. My browser is set to delete cookies, so I always have to log in. No difficulty seeing attachments, but I can't get mine to appear inline.

I have the same issue, with Fire Fox, Sea Monkey, or IE 7
...even before I read MHI, my response to seeing a poster for the stars of the latest Twilight movies was "I see 2 targets and a collaborator".
