Speaking of Russians - anybody heard from Eugene lately?

He's fine, just doing some work for me and there might be a girl involved....

When I get over this pneumonia and get the dough rustled up we will get this back on track...

Molon Labe anyone?

Working for you involves girls? Where do I sign up? :-)

Say "Hi" to Eugene for us, and get yourself over that pneumonia.

Don't screw around with pneumonia!!! I had it in October, and it hit so fast that I went from mildly short of breath on Sunday to ICU and oxygen by Friday.

And the best part, apparently when Dad and I were cutting wood this summer, I was exposed to some sort of fungus, which nested in my lungs, and the antibiotics (for the pneumonia) fertilized. Been back in the hospital once over it (not ICU, thank G-d) and the experts are saying another 4-6months before I'm recovered.

At this point, I'd give $100 to take a deep breath.

Sounds good to me.

I found my old " Nation of Riflemen " shirt the other day and wore it to a gun show. Kind of preaching to the converted :)

Pneumonia is kinda' like malaria, 'cause that once you've had it, you're MUCH more susceptible to a relapse.
POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON

A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.

I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad

+1. Amazingly enough, running from 100+ degrees into -20 degrees wasn't good for my lungs. I haven't had a problem in years, but I can feel when my lungs are starting to be bothered by the cold - for me, it's important to keep my face covered in v. cold climates.

I might have known that Eugene would hang around until he found better use of his time.
Good luck to him!

And Pneumonia can hit fast and hard, My dad died about a week after he began having trouble swallowing food correctly (alzheimers and hemorraghic strokes are not pretty). We put him in the hospital and he was gone in three days.

I'm sure I don't need to tell you guys who've had pneumonia to be careful, but the rest of you guys who may want to just tough it out. . . . . Be Careful out there!

But, back to the original subject of this thread, Molon Labe would be interesting, except it has sort of been done. I already have a black ball cap with red letters, "Molon Labe" on it.
The use of the word "but" usually indicates that everything preceding it in a sentence is a lie.
E.g.:
"I believe in Freedom of Speech, but". . .
"I support the Second Amendment, but". . .
