Statue of limitations?

Well the rumor machine says that Trump was of the opinion that there would be no conviction of Hillary given the state of the Justice Department and the MSM. However, he reportedly said that when he was elected he'd apply the statue of limitations to her security breaches. If that happened it would be good for a giggle.

Didn't realize that there was a statute of limitations on treason.

This is one reason I put this stuff in humor. Hardly any truth out there. It could be a real mess trying almost all of the executive branch and a good part of the MSM for treason. I've read that the Obama group is busy destroying evidence and the only thing that will be left is Hillary's goofs. "Giving aid and comfort to the enemy in a time of war" is a pretty clear definition of treason, but the rules and conditions for trying someone for treason make it hard to do. It is set up to prevent "bills of attainder". Nailing the Hidlebeast for a felony would be a bit easier.

If you assume Trump is simultaneously 100% wrong, and talking out his ass from a position of utter ignorance, on any topic since the dawn of time and recorded human history to now, you will seldom, if ever, be disappointed.

She just has to run out the clock until December, and then Hopey-Dopey will pardon her.

Who needs treason to disqualify Hillary?

Section 2071 of Title 18 of the United States Code: "Whoever, having the custody of any such record, proceeding, map, book, document, paper, or other thing, willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, falsifies, or destroys the same, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both; and shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States."il

Emphasis added.

I'm pretty sure Hillary's hiding her emails on her private server constituted a violation of this act.

The (two part) question is: 1) Does "any office" include the Presidency?; and 2) If so, is the law constitutional? The Constitutional establishes qualifications for POTUS (and the House and Senate), and SCOTUS has held previously that Congress cannot impose additional requirements short of an Amendment. (The case involved term limits for Congress, back in the 1990s)

In keeping with the title... what would a statue of limitations look like?

My guess would be a statue of one Detective Harry Callahan.

You're right, they hate each other. However, she's still being protected by his regime and it must be happening with his express approval. This begs the question: what is Barry the Jackass being bribed or blackmailed with?
