(UPI) – Nearly 30 percent of U.S. men think sex is better after their football team wins and 10 percent say they have bad sex after a loss, a survey indicates.

The Sports Lovers poll from the Web site AreYouRomantic.com was commissioned by Caesars Pocono Resorts. It asked sports fans and those in love with sports fans, how their favorite one team's performance affects life with their other half.

The survey says 1-in-4 male sports fans would be willing to give up sex for at least a month if their favorite team were guaranteed a Super Bowl win. Of them, 11 percent would give up sex "for however long it takes."

However, 40 percent of the men said they believe their partner would give up sex for at least a month if their team was guaranteed a Super Bowl win.

Many fans believe it's difficult to be romantic during the football season. One said: "I could be on fire in the room right next to him and he wouldn't notice."

The Sports Lovers poll was administered to 391 men and 235 women and has a margin of error of plus/minus 5 percentage points.

must not have talked to many married guys... married guys dont have bad sex... its so rare to have sex that any sex is good
