Heinlein and bad pun.

InstaPundit linked to this "Letters of Note" post. I'd read this before, but when I went through it again I looked a bit more carefully through contents of the letter to Sturgeon, as opposed to circumstances surrounding the the letter. It also made me think about the reprinting or Heinleins book "A Tramp Royale" which was written in about this same time period.

A lot of condensed stuff in the letter about philosophy, laws, and culture to think over. However I got to thinking about a idea in which a "phsyic" was constantly prognosticating favorably for one political party and getting well paid for it. A person got tired of this and bashed the phsyic's head in with a baseball bat. He got away with it because in the written down cultural laws there was a line that stated "it is always acceptable to strike a happy medium." (rim shot)
