That's another of the benefits of the scooter. Many are lighter than equivalent bikes, carry their weight (both engine and fuel tank) lower, have grab rails and usually both side and center stands.

Apparently an 80-year-old granny can get a Honda Goldwing upright using this technique.

I have personally seen a very short, very petite woman pick up a fully loaded Honda Goldwing off its side with this technique. It does work.
