I was watching a Korean TV series that has been called 19 century Korean CSI. In one episode a cloth dyer has been murdered and one suspected reason was to get his "secret" Dye ingredient for Red Cloth.
[spoiler]In the end there was no secret. He was such a dedicated dyer and spent so much time perfecting his craft that he had mastered the techniques to use common ingredients to get results that nobody else could come close too. The tragedy was that he told people there was no secret ingredient but they didn't want to believe him. Life is kind of like that, people thinking there is some magic way to success.[/spoiler]
