I saw an early '60s Ferrari, I think a 250/GTO (???), being worked on in a garage up in the high country many years ago. I always that it was the coolest car I've ever seen, it was gorgeous. Others:

'63 'Vette Stingray, split window. Saw a gorgeous orange one with the 327 engine a couple of weeks ago.

Porsche 911, the original was a milestone design, instantly recognizable.

Original Mustang, though I'm not a Ford fan.

Jaguar XKE.

If I could toss in one more, I'd say the '57 Chevy.

Oh man, no one has mentioned the Duesenberg SJ? They were the epitome of performance and style in their day.
A gun is a tool, Marian; no better or no worse than any other tool: an axe, a shovel or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that.

I will get back to you on my list, but I happen to have a 7 series from just before the body change, and it is a fine looking car IMHO.

As for the Gullwing and the Volvo Amazon, my business partner has the last one of the first and I had two of the second!

Yes, as the 8s are so very reliable... Have you had to replace the radiator yet? (My father loves 7s, even though his have been shop queens, so far...)
