Fire season again (in SoCal)

Post by blackeagle603 »

Got to see abit of a showtoday. Car started a fire on the edge of MCAS Miramar. Helos and trucks were on it like white on rice by the time I was driving past.

Not the easiest thing to get good cell phone pics whilst driving next to a construction barricade. :-)

Of course we know that lots of rain in San Diego is a mixed blessing. It turns the hills green during the spring and summer, but by mid-September & October, all that green is now dried out and brown fuel for brushfires (I clarified the thread title).

I wonder where this year's fires are going to be?
POLITICIANS & DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN AND FOR THE SAME REASON

A person properly schooled in right and wrong is safe with any weapon. A person with no idea of good and evil is unsafe with a knitting needle, or the cap from a ballpoint pen.

I remain pessimistic given the way BATF and the anti gun crowd have become tape worms in the guts of the Republic. - toad
