Ich bin in deutschland

Came over for exercises. Then this happened:

Fun times. Based on social media rules, I obviously can't post much, but am currently ok.

I hope you remain ok. None of my business where you are or what you're supposed to be doing. You have my sympathy, and best wishes for your safety and quick return.

Glad you're OK.

On the other hand, there are worse places to be stuck on TDY. And at least it didn't catch you in the middle of a PCS move.

Wishing you luck!

We're waiting to see what happens when my daughter graduates Army Reserve AIT in April. We're thinking since her permanent station is here, it won't count as PCS.
Note to self: start reading sig lines. They're actually quite amusing. :D

Which means she might be able to go to work. Which is good.

Still okay here, and now working with some significantly clearer guidance regarding cancelled exercises and next steps. Still gonna be here a while, but SWMBO is pretty well squared away at home station, and is quite capable (more than she gives herself credit for). If you're the praying type, prayers for peace for her while this chaos is going on would be much appreciated.
