I had been trying to attach a tennis ball to the back of my night wear to prevent me from sleeping on my back. I almost succeeded in sewing my finger together trying to get that to work. I was searching through the Internet for ideas when I came upon a device that a guy was selling for about $30 . It was a hard ventilated plastic ball with a clip on it. It looked kind of familiar to me. I eventually recognized it as a baseball whiffle, wiffle, or training ball. I wandered over to Wally World , and found a pack of ten for $10 and ten badge I. D. clips for about $2 . Some assembly required installing the clips but so far it is working pretty well.

IIRC they are looking at putting you on a CPAP. My experience is that using one of those, the only sleeping position that is problematic is on your stomach due to the feed hose to the mask. I find that on either side or my back is not problem once I started using mine.

Well , I've ran into problems getting my CPAP , so I'm using nostrums to try and stay alive until I can get my " Sleep Tests" and my "Sleep Studies" . At worst I wont get it until early May of 2019. I'm on the waiting list and might get in early if some one cancels.
There Might be a work around that depends on my Primary Care Doc and My insurance company. If I can get a " sleep test" prescribed the results can be sent to the Sleep Studies doc and she can "study the results " and prescribe a CPAP for me. I'm waiting to see if that is going to be possible.

They can do the sleep study at home now with a device that you wear to bed. Mrs Price did that a few months ago.

Yo can do a sleep study through the mail, for like 250 bucks. They maul you a test apparatus, you use it over night, and then mail it back. They then send you the results.

You can buy a cpap machine through amazon, and with results set initial tuning, the machine will self tune from there.

Well I got moved up on my sleep study to December 8th. of this year , my in system copay is $35.00 for that , I'm also in line for a Texas State Program for income and health payment assistance for poor Senior Citizens. I'll know how that works out in about another two weeks. I suspect it works on the " Good Fairy " principal , three fairies reach into a basket with the names of applicants , The name the gold fairy pull out gets the maximum , the silver fairy gives you about 1/2 , and the brass fairy give you 1/10 .
You'll also find these fairies working for HR departments and military assignment offices.
