stock trading

Post by mekender »

after making several good predictions to my co-workers this last two weeks... the most recent of which would have been a 350% return in 2 days (made a co worker about $1500 on it) i think its about time to get involved myself...

what i want is something that has little to no monthly fees, the ability to just drop in money off my Credit/debit card, and a simple to use interface...

my thoughts are to start with putting between $250 to $500 in and then adding $25 or so per paycheck.

my boss suggested AG edwards as the one he uses but with them being owned by wachovia and the mess that wachovia is in, i dont feel to comfortable with that company...

so any ideas?

TD Ameritrade consistently gets high marks. They only charge $10 for a trade, if done online and no maintenance fees.

It's easy to use, also.

i was just looking at them but they want a minimum of $500 for an electronic funded account and it appears that they want a direct transfer from my bank account instead of letting me use my card...

They want you to direct deposit so they don't have to pay the % for the credit card usage. That's one way they keep costs low.

You may want to try to save up a bit more money -- or not, just remember, you have to recover the costs of the trade. Also, you've never made, or lost, a dime, until it's been taken out...
