Update: My stoma is larger than it was, but not as large as it should be. Not a problem at the moment, but will be wearing a tube at night for a long time, it appears. Appointment in two weeks to get fitted for the new tube.

Swallowing is still a problem. Water, coffee and other thin liquids mostly work fine. Am getting able to take bigger swallows, not just tiny sips. My throat still spasms shut on occasion. It has been triggered by my pills on at least one occasion. I am hopefull that drinking my morning cup of coffee, pretty much a new thing since April, and a nutritional shake for breakfast, that I will "relearn" how to swallow. The appointment in two weeks may also cover my swallowing ability.

Thanks to all who have offered up kind thoughts and prayers.

improvements even if only incremental are good things. Glad to hear you are getting close to being able to eat food.
