The best thing you can do with a 10\22 is to shitcan that pathetic scope rail. Which I think you have already got squared away
All my life I been in the dog house
I guess that just where I belong
That just the way the dice roll
Do my dog house song

Tech Sights. If you're not using a scope or other opticalHighspeed wrote:The best thing you can do with a 10\22 is to shitcan that pathetic scope rail. Which I think you have already got squared away
I have a poly buffer in one 10/22. The only noticeable difference to me is when shooting low or standard velocity ammo; the factory pin produced a louder, more metallic action noise. With high velocity ammo the sound of the blast covered up any difference in action sound.
Given the number of 10/22s with tens or hundreds of thousands of ammo through them that have no issue with that steel pin or the mount point in the receiver, I wouldn't buy another poly, but thats just me.
